Review: First time here - I tend to find private owned shops because they usually have detailed artists I like. This shop is very nice and the staff welcoming but I do have some points of opportunity.1. Attention to detail - I had a tech helping with the prep and install of the gel x. She began and everything was going well. But she chose my shape without asking and after a few when I noticed (round vs. almond) I informed her. The response was “these are better” and “it looks more natural” although I appreciate the sentiment it’s my hand and my money (no offense) let me choose. She also wouldn’t let me change from sculpted which I don’t like at all. Then when she was having pick the color for the base she brought 3 large color books. She placed them on top of the curing lamp told me pick but hand my hand in the lamp and painting. When I tried to move the books she said she needed my hand but then asked the color. Here I snapped and said “I can’t I need my hand to do it.” She then realized my frustration and let me look. She also did this with another guest that I could tell comes often she knew the team. This guest asked to keep her length and apply over her natural growth. The same tech I had in the beginning just chopped them all off. She was upset but polite and when she asked her not to do the other hand she still cut them off.Then my pedicure - the lovely human who did it, did not know what he was doing. I paid for the luxury package and my calluses were not fully tended too and you can feel it’s patchy. Then the french he did I had to correct him constantly and he never got it right (all I asked for was the regular French and he did like a white (uneven) line) I was definitely not satisfied with it. Water was cold!!!! Towels he brought he left out and then put on me and were cold too.2. The artist- Emily - I gave her a design I wanted (she took over from the one who prepped) she was hesitant about it. But ultimately she slayed. I could tell towards the middle she was over it. (I understand I’m extra but too be fair I booked it to accommodate the time) then at the end when confirming a 3d portion she was over it only wanting to do two pieces. This is nothing against her. I understand the sentiment and I hope the next time I’m there our relationship will be more comfortable.3. The salon - clean, smells great, calm, I would ask there’s some thing to manage the gnats they are horrendous when you can’t swat them away getting your hands done.Overall 4/5 stars I thinks it’s a great place but needs some work on the little things.
